Idiot lights are way too dim

Does anyone know if brighter idiot bulbs are available for a 2002 T100?

Is the newbonneville.com LED set brighter?
Is their set the only option for brighter idiot lights?

I put in the LEDs from New Bonneville. They are bright and easy to see. Well worth it.

I replaced all the idiot lights on my speedmaster with LEDs as I couldn't see them during the day.

They are a standard T10 bulb on mine and are easy to get to.
You can find the bulbs much cheaper than what is on newbonnevile.com
Just look around your local electronics store (Jaycar in Australia) and you can get them for a couple of bucks each.

Unsure if the T100 is the same, but it shouldnt be difficult.

Also the indicator bulb (if it is the single bulb for Left and Right) will not work with a replacement LED as LEDs are generally single direction current flow.

As "nova" alludes to, you will need a non-polarised LED (or do a diode mod) for the flashing indicator bulb. Buying a kit is more expensive than sourcing your own LEDs, but takes the hassle out. There are plenty of threads on this if you do a search.

I have the LED idiot lights from NB in both the Scrambler & Thruxton, they work a treat & easy to see in the bright Australian sun.
There are suppliers for T10 LED replacements but they say they won't work as a blinker telltale light.

cheers Terry

Thanks everyone.
I ended up ordering the kit from New Bonneville. They are a great group.

I really don't know why Triumph stuck with the globes & not LEDS, I guess the 2011 & 2012 are ok with the different gauges

I have to add another for these. Couldn't see the stock bulbs in daylight. Much better now.
