It is the silver pipes that sit right beside the spark plugs.
You can see them in my video.
The purpose is to burn off impurities for emissions control.
There are kits to remove them and plug the holes.
The result is cooler running engines, less popping on deceleration, and easier access to the spark plugs.

Great video! Thanks for putting it together. I'm not so nervous now about taking my tank off to wire the GPS and install the auxiliary power port.

Thanks so much! I'm replacing the washers to my weeping cam cover and was nervous about tank removal in my 2010. No more. Thanks!!!!

Nicely done ... just wanted to add my thanks, for this and the siphoning video as well. I am planning some wiring and AI removal, and this is invaluable.

very well done, and very thorough videos. it seems as if triumph did not over complicate the fuel tank/pump etc.

Thanks for the videos.

You can get a good gas siphon from Home Depot for $2.98

If all I am doing is removing the AI from the bike, is there any real need to remove gas from tank first?
