Just ordered those. Now to figure out if I want to DIY a tail light or get the mini fender.

Thanks for the info.

Nice work, fancypants. Now remove that passenger peg and slim her down even more!

Looks very nice. Is that just the stock seat with the pan and foam trimmed and the cover stretched back on?
Thinking this is the route I'll try next. If I like it then I will invest in a new cover fit to the trimmed seat.

Where did you drill the holes.

If possible could you post a pic of where you drilled the holes; I am about to do this myself but am a little concerned where to drill the holes so I don't compromise the structural integrity of the bike.

Cheers
Matt

Don't have a picture at the moment, but it probably makes the most sense to drill somewhere near the battery or igniter unit, especially since the subframe is fortified there. The holes needed are pretty small. I ended up drilling near the rear because this was a temporary mod to me, and I was going chop/shorten the rear subframe anyways.

Make sure the edges of the newly drilled holes aren't too sharp as you don't want them cutting into the wires and leading to a short.

I'm thinking of doing this in addition to my current LED rear tail lights to just give more light back there.
