The connectors are now located behind the headlight, sort of free-floating next to the ear. There's plenty of grease, so in a light drizzle I shouldn't be an issue. Still, I feel a little wary with the connectors exposed. Any reason why this will be problem? Should I splice in a little more length to get the connectors concealed in the headlight housing per usual?

Bought the Joker Ignition relocation switch and got it delivered, THEN I read about how Triumph kindly pre-drilled the frame for me to relocate the ignition myself. Headed to the hardware isle of my neighborhood DIY shop and came out with $3 worth of bolts and spacers.
Relocated my ignition right to the frame last night with no issues at all. I love it, the location is so much better than stock. Plus it allowed me to install my new indicators that would have interfered with the old ignition sticking out of the headlight ears.
Oh, and to answer the OP question, there was plenty of slack in the wiring. Just open up the headlight and push the ignition connector all the way to the back of the bucket.
Anybody want a brand-new unopened Joker bracket LH Mount in black? I hear that they are often backordered... as I waited 4 weeks for mine.

Perkology, I had my connectors hanging out there like that and didn't feel comfortable so when I had my tank off I moved them.
