OK, before this get's out of hand, let me say this - I agree with you. My point was that 15 years ago we were talking about an inflection point in an industry that brought along an unexpected risk: easy, inexpensive mass-copying of copyrighted material. This was temporarily exploited and eventually determined to be illegal. We all learned from this and moved on. It appears China has not and has no intention to do so and companies that continue to profit off that system do not deserve to be in business.

I see your point, it just doesn't bother me that much...

Now, if one of the parts was hand made in the UK, I'd buy that, if I could afford it. But even the name brand parts are made in China, so I'm not that fussed.

Saying that, I do have a genuine centre stand, but only because I'd not heard of tec before buying it... :-)

WOW! I guess I was being upfront about what that guy said, Put my[Size12] foot in it It was not the rep. i have some contacts across the pond, did a little phoning around, nuff said!! I have been around the ..........block,seen the underbelly,India,Mexico, etc.Believe me, we are no better, I was just trying to help

No offense intended, it's just many folks are not aware of why one product designed, developed and produced in Italy costs so much more than something that looks identical to one illegally knocked-off in China.
