I found TOR's too loud. Went back to stock and much happier. Selling if interested. Check Baltimore Craigslist.

Made me wonder if TORs for the Speedmaster are louder than peashooter Bonnie TORs.
Must be.
The Thruxton TORs are louder than Bonnie TORs so there are differences between TORs models.

TPUSA Dominator Sport

I'm not sure if this is the best place for this, but I didn't want to start a new thread...

Anywho, I installed my TPUSA Dominator Sport cans this weekend and took some Db readings and videos in stages of install.

I used a free iOS app called Decibel 10th, here are the other details:

Airbox in tact
Snorkel and baffle removed
K&N Air Filter
AIS still active
O2 Sensors still active
Stock map when readings/recordings were taken

OE Silencers -
Front - 80
Left - 84
Rear - 80
Right - 82
Blip - 98

No silencers/straight headers -
Front - 98
Left - 95
Rear - 95
Right - 97
Blip - 100+

TPUSA Dominator Sport Silencers -
Front - 97
Left - 95
Rear - 97
Right - 95
Blip - 99

You can see the dB readings are fairly erratic, but I didn't expect much from a free app in my driveway.

Tried 4 different exhausts

So I have tried 4 exhausts and 5 different set-ups today on my 2010 T100....

Stock: 1%. Embarassingly quiet

TOR: 15%. They actually sound half decent in second gear and up.

Predators: 70%. Love the sound on these. It makes the bonnie finally sound like a motorbike. IMHO the best sounding exhaust

Dunstall Replica (baffle In): 80%. A little louder than the Predators but frankly they don't sound as good.

Dunstall Replica (baffle Out): 100%. Both my nieghbours came out of thier houses to see what I was doing. My wife thinks they are way too loud and comparable to a harley sportster with V&H.

I had slash cut Tors on my America and they were significantly louder than the Tors on my new Bonnie. That doesn't mean I dont like the sound as the 360 crank gives a completely different sound anyway.
