Hi,

maybe a little silly question, but how can I check the year of build of my speedmaster? I can't find it in the papers, only year of registration. Is it something I can find in the framenumber?

Your post doesn't say where on the planet you are. In North America there is an ID tag on the neck of the frame. 17 digit Vehicle Identity Number (VIN), 10th digit is model year code, 2005=5,2006=6 etc until 2010=A. On the tag will be the month/year build date e.g mine reads 03/02 = March 2002.
Not sure what info is put on Euro 'bikes.

You should have a sticker similar to this on the right hand side of the steering neck. It's just to the front of the tank. My bike was built in 03/07 (March, 2007).
