Hyde pipes

bikerpiper,

I'm only a great big daftie, but here's my tuppence worth for you. I had new Hyde pipes on my first Scrambler, essentially Togas with different inlet stubs, which were marked 'not for road use'. But unlike Triumph's tors, which have it indelibly embossed right on the outer skin for traffic wardens to see, Hyde put the words between the mounting holes on the inside face of the pipes, where they're completely obscured when mounted to the bike, seen here:

I had a set of used Togas on my T100 briefly, but the left side one rotted through with rust from the inside, which is why I bought the stainless feked pipes.

Those are, I believe, Specialty Spares pipes [same company, different name?] I have not heard any negatives about those pipes or the company but have heard some praises.
Look on page 44 of the exhaust sticky.
