What is this electrical connector called?
Just trying to mount up my Zumo sat nav, and looking for the ignition-switched electrical feed.
I've removed the tank and there is this connector available underneath:
Any idea what the connector is called? Is it something that I can get the opposite end of from somewhere?
Or should I be using this other one?

I *think* that I'm getting there - it looks like a Tyco Electronics Econoseal 2-way female receptacle, as seen on this page, in which case the male plug adapter is shown on that page too.
The only thing is that the casing looks different, and Tyco Electronics only have a webmail contact, not a normal email address.

Good find Ben. Automotive connectors are a pain to source and your page gives us at least the make of some of the connectors on our bikes: TYCO.
The other accessory connector is usually found on things like cigar lighters. If one can't be found get a couple of male 0.250 insulated fast-on crimps like the ones on the extreme right of the image. They'll plug securely into the connector with the black/purple wires. Check the polarity with a multimeter before plugging anything into it.

I've just sent an email to my nearest Trumpet dealer to see if the Tiger GPS Connector lead will fit the Tyco connector under the tank - that'd make life easier than putting the connector together myself, especially as it's only £8

I wired mine into a switched power connection, the aux on my bike was not switched, so I didn't want it to keep powering the cradle when the bike was keyed off.
In my case, I spliced it into the tail light. The cable had its own fuse that was significantly less than brake light and there was plenty of length to run the cable back there so I didn't have to have the splice under the tank, its under the seat with is slightly more protected from the elements.

Here's another source for motorcycle connectors. He's in Japan, but it only takes just under a week for stuff to come through the mail. Great guy, very helpful.

Does not have that particular connector however.
The Purple & Black is indeed accessory power I believe - this will be 'hot' all the time (constant battery power)
The Green/Red & black should be switched by ignition - looking at the schematic is this connector for the Carb Vent Valve?
