Red face Footrests needed.

Had a little off last Sunday, broke a few bits so now that i've stopped sulking, i need to find some replacement parts.

I remember seeing somewhere that the standard footrests are made of monkey metal, so can anyone point me to some better ones please?

You may have already done this, but your pillion pegs will make do until you get some other suitable replacements.

Oberon footpegs

I have a pair, haven't installed them yet. Service from the UK was prompt. I bought (locally) longer screws for a more secure installation, you'll see what I mean if you get them.

Hi chaps, I had the same kindoff whoopsie and snapped off the front footrest (right side) on my speedmaster '06. Triumph replacement parts are £45, do you know where i could get cheaper price but good quality replacement in the UK?
Many thanks

p.s. I have seen ones for sale on ebay but the 'connectors' seem to be different. Mine has a 2-prong peg going into u-shape with a bolt going thro the middle (sorry I'm not technical!). Cant find anything in the manual, only on how to release it, no part numbers etc.

For the bikes using straight pegs(Thrux, Speedy, America), if you're searching about on fleabay, try Yamaha pegs. I believe YZF R1 pegs swap on direct, but just about any Yamaha peg will work, you may have to drill out the hole for the pin just a little.
