For only 1 cylinder...lol. The crank is staggered on a 270 deg motor.
A bit of an old wives tale anyway. Don't sweat it.
What matters is what is mentioned in the other thread. Change the oil and don't start the bike in the winter unless you are going to run it for a long while to burn all the condensate out of the oil bath and cylinders. Moisure and dirty oil is the enemy of a sedentary engine provided it doesn't sit too long as sedentary isn't good for any engine. Put stabilizer in the gas tank and run it through a bit before putting it away.
Lastly, don't put it away until the last minute. There is always one outliar nice day almost in winter when you kick yourself for taking is off the road.
