headlight grill question

I ordered a grill and it is from Triumph. It is kind of bulky and I am wondering if they are all the same. I wanted a black one and can't find any but the one I have in chrome.

The headlight protector/grill that fits the old Mini headlight (not the BMW Mini) also fits the Bonnie/Thrux headlight - you get two and they only cost US$25

I believe he riders a Scrambler. They have smaller 5-1/4" headlights. Mini/Bug stone guards will be too big. I don't care all that much for the stand-off brackets the factory uses. Where it me, I'd cut the brackets off and safety wire the guard on. I do that with my Bonnies and never had one fall off or stolen.
