exhaust leak?

Hey guys, just noticed that there seems to be some exhaust comming out of the header pipe where my TOR's slip on connects so I tightened it up as much as I could and still notice a little exhaust escaping through so I think I should put some kind of silicone seal material around the connection to seal it up. Any ideas of what would work best, type of silicone sealant or something on that order. Should it be air tight seal? I imagine that it should be. Thanks for any input.

I've used clear and red, and others will recommend other high temp silicone sealants.

Just don't use bathroom caulk.
