foot peg whoes

I have a 2007 Bonneville black with 11,000 miles. i bought it new and have had very few problems with it but my shifter side footpeg just snapped off today!! i am a large man(6'3" 250 lbs) and i would like to know if there is an upgrade with a larger stud size in the mounting bracket? i was wondering if the scrambler was a little beefier in that area. i have the ability to modify what i have but would like to keep it basically Triumph. possibley consider rear-sets if anyone knows of good ones.

Thanx
MountainMatt

It might be an idea to run a search on here. There were a couple of threads last year about foot pegs snapping off under less than abnormal use, quite worrying at the time.

The new footpegs are aluminum not pot metal, I had to replace one of mine.

Another peg option soon...

These will be available sometime this winter for the Scrambler/Bonne etc... Look sturdy, don't they? Cheers, M.
