Smile air injectors removal help

I have an '01 Bonneville 790 and want to remove the air injectors to richen up the air mixture and avoid the excessive pipes bluing, lean mix, etc. I can remove the injectors easily enough but can't seem to find suitable bolts to reinsert in the heads without buying the $26.00 kit online (Local dealer, Roadhouse Motorsports, don't stock them). Anyone have any suggestions. Also, is there anything else I should know involved in the modification? i.e., Do I have to plug off the vacuum tube or anything else. Txs, you guys are the best.

I don't remember the size (12mm maybe...), take one of the injectors to a hardware store and match the size to a bolt from the bin. There should be no surprises. I would have done it this way except that the salesman handed me the kit when I bought the bike.
Interestingly, the screw in plugs on mine have gone from a sedate black to a peculiar brown-orange color.
Don't forget to cover/plug the hole in the airbox as well as any vacuum ports.

Here's a thread that gives you the size of bolt to plug the ports with (M12x1,25), and other advice on where to find suitable plugs.

Another thing you'll need is a vacuum stub rubber cap and a plug for the airfilter box.

plug the airbox?

I removed the snorkel tune from my airbox aquite some time ago. Do I still need to plug the tube? If so, any suggestions on a suitable way to do so. PS, where does the vac tube that needs capping lead to....a port on the carbs? Thx for help!

The hose that feeds the air injection takes its air after the air filter. If it's not blocked then unfiltered air gets sucked into the engine.

The vacuum valve for the AI is connected to one of the carb manifolds. Just follow the little hose and cap where it fits.
