Picked up a spare ECU off Ebay for $99
like the title says i picked up a spare ECU off Ebay for $99. apparently came off a 2006 salvaged Thruxton. New ECU's are $500, and figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a spare around in case one goes bad. gonna send one out to the pieman and have the rev limiter increased and timing advanced. from what i am hearing this mod really makes a noticable difference. i've been told the bike starts up easier, runs smoother, and possibly adds a hp or two. in a few weeks i will swap the stocker for the modified one and report back...
