Thruxton and a motorcycle jack?
I wanted to pick up a motorcycle jack from Harbor Freight to do some maintenence, but was concerned about the pipes of the Thruxton getting in the way. Can anyone tell me if the pipes get in the way of putting the bike up on a jack. Or do the pipes have to be removed to get a flat surface onto the frame of the bike?
thanks in advance

Don't waste your money and time, go buy a real center stand and be done with it, just my opinion. :

Yea, a $100 bike lift will lift 1500lbs a foot in the air. It's compact, functional and can be used for other things. If you're worried about hitting your pipes use a couple 2x4's on the rubber pads.

Yep, that's true. I only do the minor stuff like oil changes and chain maintenance with it.
