Replacing my rear turn signals

The rear turn signals on my 08 America just seem to stick out like big ears and I would really like to replace them. Maybe something smaller and not stuck out in the wind as far as the originals. Has anyone found a good site for turn signal replacements ?

Very likely you could shorten them similar to what guys have done with Bonneville signal stalks - or look through the vendors here. There are hundreds of light set ups that can be adapted.
Some shortened stalks on a Thruxton:

This cost ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

Shortening the turn signal stalks

Dave, those look good. What is involved in shortening the stalks, just using a hack saw and cutting them or something more involved ?

Yup, cut the chromy plastic with a hacksaw, trimmed the black rubber with a razor knife. Your bike's lights look as though the stalk threads into the taillight housing. If the stalks come off, they probably can be cut. Examine them.

Thanks much. Those are great instructions and pictures, and just what the doctor ordered to clean up the looks of the bike.
