Bub Baffle?

Hi all,

I recently bought my first bike ever, a used 2006 T100. The previous owner added the Bub 2-2 system. I love the sound but, I think it might be a bit too loud for my surroundings.

Anyway I can pad the sound down a bit? I have looked around the net and here...maybe I'm just missing the answer.

you can't do anything to the bub mufflers. They have a welded-in steel baffle. There is nothing to repack. Also, since the headers are non-stock the aftermarket silencers for the bonnie will probably NOT bolt right up to those headers, but you might be able to adapt something.

that, or just don't open the throttle all the way

Thanks. That's what I was starting to figure.

It's definitely a sound I can live with. :

I'll trade you stock mufflers and a set of Emgo reverse cones + cash for the Bubs!

Ha! Thanks for the offer but I will stick with these. My concern was rumbling into my underground garage...which takes me right past several bedroom windows. I love the sound...I'll just have to be careful coming home at night.
