advantage to changing front pegs?

Is there that much difference in comfort if you change your front pegs? Most of the pictures I look at all still have the triumph pegs. What is the advantage of (for example) the kuryakyn dually pegs?

For some, probably most, the change is for appearence - a sleeker look, although a rider may gain a bit more comfort if the new peg is a bit lower than stock. I switched sides with my pegs and got a little over one half inch lower and rearward positioning that I find way more comfortable than the standard set up.
