Difference Exhaust bonneville 2001 2006

hi,

i have a bonneville black 2006, and bought some original exhaust from a bonneville model 2001 (green one)
for what i can see the only difference is a different serial number
and also the rear opening is bigger than the model of 2001.

Also my model is better welded / cleaner / smoother if you know what i mean...

But the main question.. i would like to bafflectomy but witch one should i do.. my original ones or the ones i just bought ( model 2001)

what is the difference between these 2 models of exhausts? is the recent one better ? like more power / build better / more quiet?

someone here has some experience with these things?

greetz!

I haven't done it, but from what I've read here, the older silencers might be easier to bafflectomize (I made up that word). At some point, the interior was altered, making the job harder on the newer design.

I don't know about Belgium, but in California, the '06's had catalytic converters, best to stay away from them, especially if you are into rich mixtures or "alternative" fuels!
