BC Lucas FEK install, and help with turn signal relocation!!!

hi guys,

so got my order in from BC today, and i ordered the new Lucas Taillight FEK, turn signal relocation kit with square, chromed, clear lens turn signals, front relocation bracket to put the turn signals under the headlight, and covers for the existing side holes.

Review on FEK:

I got this on without too much of a hitch. I'm not the world's greatest mechanic, but i got a decent amount of common sense to figure out what bolt went where, and how to figure out the wiring. the kit looks great!! i love the lucas taillight, and i love the cleanliness and youth it gave to the look of the bike. my only comments are this:

1. BC has a video on their website showing a quick install for this, but it wouldn't hurt to include some sort of printed directions or guide that would've helped out a noob like me.

2. This is more of a personal complaint, but the relocation of the rear signals pretty much renders the use of saddlebags undoable, and may pose interference for the rare times i ride 2 up, but again, more of a personal complaint.

3. The liscence plate frame i currently have was originally only about .75 inches away from grazing the tire. a little too close for my comfort, but not biggie, i realize the unit is meant to be used without a frame, so i just bent it a bit to suit a better angle that wont hit the wheel.

That's about it, here are some pics of the rear so you can see the kit on as a whole, and also see the clearance my wheel has from the frame.

Now here's where I ask for some help!! I haven't figured out the front turn signal relocation issue yet, so if anyone has any guides posted online for this id GREATLY appreciate that!!!

for one, i bought this turn signal relocation bracket from BC for the front signals...

Where in teh WORLD does this thing mount!? please enlighten me.

seconly, how do i get the front turn signals off? searched the forums and nothing.

i undid the little nut on the inside by the headlight to get the right turn signal off, but couldn't figure out how to get the wiring out of the headlight enclosure!!! i'd really appreciate some help on this.

thanks guys!

Take the lenses off the front signals and unplug the wires, slide 'em out, take nut off lamp base, viola!
Yeah, the saddle bag thing. I am thinking those who go for the sporty look of a FEK likely don't do saddle bags. You'll figure something out if you stare at it long enough.
