Why we live in SoCal....
Left the Bonnie at home for once and took the 675s out for a ride in the country. Just a reminder how good life can be!

You see, the big DISADVANTAGE of living there is that you never get to develop your wet riding skills

I've lived out here for six years now (from Michigan) - but do suffer from homesickness. Something about putting Christmas lights up while wearing shorts seems fundamentally wrong to me. Then again, it is indeed hard to beat a year-round riding season.

For shame! A blue sky, green grass, leaves (or something) on the tree, an attractive riding partner. Dual 675s. Have you no empathy? Care you not, a whit, about others, who have much less at this wet, cold and dismal time of year?

Wow Isn't it Great to Be a Californian.......Not!
I can put up with a little cold and even a little snow, over having to deal with a bunch of liberal nutters, Hollywood want to be's, anti-gun establishment, CARB, anti-Constitution, self indulgent weiners and more. I lived their for 4+ years and it's ok if you like living in a socialist police state. Wow, mud slides, scheduled brown outs, earthquakes, Santa Anna winds, smog, fires, overrun with illegal aliens, gang bangers, overpriced housing and fuel costs, highest cost of living in the US per capita and wow, a movie star as a governor, isn't that special. Couldn't be better. Life in Sunny Southern Cal is just what we need, the promise land. Gee and all this so you can have two additional months of winter riding, I'm impressed. Boy, I'll give up everything to move there for extra riding..... no really, I will!
Yes, Life is Good! Glad you like California.
Cheers

I miss living in Venice and riding over the mountains to the Rock Store for breakfast. Unfortunately, when I lived there I didn't have the Thrux. Doesn't really matter what you're riding when the weather is that good.

Looks like a great day. Good thing you had time and opportunity to enjoy it.
