A buddy said there was a hop-up article on the Scrambler in Cycle News. I can't find it. I think Alan Cathcart rode it. Does anyone have a link? thx, Jon

Alan's article was in both the January 2009 Motorcyclist magazine and another version of it was in the November 2008 Motorcycle Sport and Leisure magazine.
He shaved 50 lbs. off of the bike and added big bore kit, cams, trick suspension, alloy rims, trick brakes and more. Very cool but mucho dollars.
If you can't find either mag then let me know and I'll photo copy them for you.

Saw the article a couple of days ago at my local Border's library. Major mods on engine, exhaust, suspension, tires, etc. etc. Must be nice to have the bucks, time and resources to essentailly create, what the writer calls, "The Scrambler that Triumph should have built."
