Johny,
The bike sounds great. What kind of pipes ya running on your new Scram?
Thanks,
Rich

not to worry, safe for work
Rich, the pipes are bafflectomised standard ones. Same procedure as gutting Bonnie silencers, holesaw, etc.
I think I should point out, incase anyone wants to have a bash at touring on a Scram' themselves: It was only possible to cart that much flesh and baggage in a controlled fashion, after fitting Ikon shocks. I found the standard pogo-sticks useless with a passenger.
ps. If anyone wants them, the standard Scrambler shocks are in the shed. send me a pm (uk only please)

Excellent series of clips Johny!!
Great roads, great scenery, great bike.
And to think it was pouring with rain all that time here "down south"!!
I think you should change your username to, as your good lady says:-
AlanBloodyWhicker!!
Cheers
V.

Great videos! We just finished a 1700 mile trip to S. Florida on my Scrambler, but the trip wasn't NEARLY as scenic as yours. What a beautiful country.

Great fun!
Sounds like you both have a sense of humour, tho' given the size of the bike and the length of the tour you'd have to have one!
BTW What happened to "over the sea to Skye." It's now over the bloody bridge!
Don't you find in Scotland the harder the midges bite the better the scotch! And they don't bite harder than in Skye, or taste better than Talisker!
