Back on a Bonnie
I traded my 2002 T100 two years back on a Speed Triple and have regretted it ever since. I sold the Speed triple last year and purchased a Star Stratoliner. The Stratoliner is a great bike but I just missed having a Bonnie. Today I purchased a 2007 Bonneville
T100 with 1300 miles. Can't wait to pick it up. It has a roadster screen which is going to come right off, and a low sissy bar which I'll keep on. Otherwise it's bone stock, black and red.
I still have a lot of stuff which I took off my 2002. Ma's engine guards with highway pegs, Triumph leather bags, summer screen, high sissy bar, king and queen seat (all that stuff was on the bike when I bought it). Most of it I'll put up for sale as I want to keep the Bonnie sleek looking. I have the Stratoliner for touring.
I need to put on pipes and have it rejetted - the air injection has to go too. What is recommended for pipes. The 2002 had the TOR's which were too quiet IMO.
Anyway I'm real excited. There's just something about a Bonneville. My favorite bike ever.

Very cool, welcome! Post pics of the bike when you can - we love pics of bikes!
If you want to sell that K and Q seat let me know - I wouldn't mind trying one of those out.

I know I wont once! I agree w/ the sleekness (cleaness of the Bonne). Too nice looking to trash up w/ big bars & seats!! Sounds like yopu found a good one- just gotta bring it back?
Ride safe & ENJOY!!

Hello
Hello everybody. Figured I should finally introduce myself. I bought my new Bonnie at the end of April and turned 3K today. I also posted a small ride report from a trip today if you're interested.
The forum has been a great help already, even before I bought the bike.
Anyone in the Atlanta area looking for someone to ride with, shoot me a PM.
-Tyler

Welcome aboard, I am like an hour away from you near the N GA mountains. If you don't mind riding with a sport bike shoot me a pm and we can plan something. I used to live in Douglas county so I know alot of good roads out in your area as well.

Dang that's a good looking bike...
Told my wife once that I thought the Bonnie was the best looking bike on the market. Period. I still think so. Nice shot of the bonnie too.
Welcome aboard.
