Sweet!

Glad to hear the 09's are starting to come in and the dealers around here are surely happy about it too.
Greensboro Triumph was down to only two units left when I was there the other day.

Looks like the first major change to the Thruxton model, lots of subtle changes from the photo. I'm surprised they didn't increase the engine size to 900 cc.

I wonder if all these new parts will be backwards compatible: The Speedo, Bar End Mirrors

If i wanted a bonneville with ace bars i would have got a bonneville and but ace bars on it. I know the thruxton has the rear sets but i the clip ons is one of the things that sold me on the thruxton. Either way just my two cents worth

Other Motorcycle: right, i wish. . .
those look a little less aggressive than ace bars---which put your hands even with the top yoke.

Did anyone notice that the clutch cable does not have the same severe right angle on it? Or is it just me hoping?

Makes me really glad I got an 08 Thrux in Chromium with the carbs. If I wanted a Bonnie, I would have bought one. Have to admit I like the black powdercoated instrument bracket and stock bar ends. Hopefully they used the new efi to cut emissions so the stock exhaust doesn't sound like a sewing machine.

What's up with the 1" bars? I guess it doesn't make sense to have two different sets of controls for these bikes & the bonne style ruled....

Looks a lot better than the N.H. top clamp I have on my thruxton, but isn't compatible so it seems unless I replace it all!

Cheers,

--Rich
