Ah, those pictures make me love my 08 even more...

Those wheels really ruin the look of the bike.

However, that OD green Scrambler is badass

I'm a practical sort of fellow, and for this reason I really like the alloy wheels. It's hard enough getting a flat on the side of the road hundreds of miles from home without having to deal with inner tubes!

Not to mention fear of rolling flats/blowouts, which alloys supposedly handle with far more grace. Translation: you are less likely to grind your face off on the pavement at 80 MPH.

That retro blue/orange joint is sweet looking, but I have to agree with everyone else - the Thunderbird just isn't doing it for me.

I gotta say I really like the 2009 line up.
The 1600 Thunderbird is really good looking. It actually looks British. The engine layout and Dashboard both reminded me of British sportscars. Elegant but purposeful. I am disappointed in the tank emblems. Very weak.
The new bonnies look good too, especially in the black. I always liked the last old bonneville, the TSS . I think the side covers need a "TSS 2" emblem on them (mine will have 'em). The mags look good on there. They do not remind me of any jap bikes from the 80's. They look totally british. But there too I do not like the decal looking tank emblems on some of the bonnie packages. and maybe the tank shape is a little off.

The 2008 line up bored me to death. This year has some Really wicked looking stuff. Well done Triumph, Well done.

If you think theres even one triumph that gives up even a drop of handling/ power per cc/speed/smoothness/etc etc to any harley remotely near it's engine size you are truly clueless. Even the 2 guys i know who own and love thier harleys admit that. It's not even close. My speedy outperforms their 18k and 30k HD's handily in every way shape and form and they now realize that and don't even think about debating it. And there is absolutely no reason not to believe this bike will follow in that tradition.

Just because you don't like the bike is no reason to lie and exaggerate to make your point that YOU hate it.
Just an personal opinion mate, but glad you know me so well!

I was of course only commenting on what i can see, i said nothing of performance or power, it might be able to out perfrom every bike in the world. Its still an ugly piece of embarassing crap.

I'm not sure i lied or really exaggerated at all, but i will make note of your comment.

Now any idea where i get one of those sculptures from?

Well you see, thats exactly why i see you as rather pathetic. You may well ride a triumph that i don't care for, but i won't even tell you that let alone call it crap. Thats what i'm talking about. The ability to act mature and consider that the words you read here aren't just fonts that appeared in a text field. they are the thoughts and feelings of other people who are also triumph fans who you are crapping all over with zero consideration to them. I will buy that bike, and there is no difference between saying the things you did now or after i buy it. And this is not even to mention the fact that you obviously feel absolutely no kinship with other triumph riders. And thanks to you i now have little to none either because if other triumph riders are like you, who needs enemies.

If i saw a post where you talked about how you own a thruxton then proceeded to call it crap, what would you think of me? Can you just answer that one question please?
