I'm also in the market for a sport tourer. I currently have 2 bikes and one has to go to make room for the tourer. I'll be keeping my sportbike (GSXR 750) and selling the Scrambler.

The bike i've had my eye on is the Yamaha FJR 1300

It would be tough to argue with a BMW R1200R. That's a nice bike!
We'll be doing our 2-up riding & touring on our Victory Kingpin.

My buddy has a new Kawi Concours...perfect bike for eating up a bunch of miles.

I am starting to become intrigued by the Aprilia Shiver, been looking at them at a local dealer, seems like a lot of bang for $9000. 95hp, ride by wire technology, high end suspension, etc.

Not sure if this can be adapted for touring but may have some possibilities with a screen and higher bars.
