Pictures of tank badges

Looking to switch my tank badge and really like the polycarbonate clear/silver badge for my bonnie black.

Anyone switch theirs out and do you have pics?
What tools will I need?

You'll need a security torx bit, I don't remember the size. This is a hollow torx bit. You can find sets of these bits in the bargain tool bin at Ace Hardware or at Harbor Freight for a few dollars.

I changed mine to the white Heritage badges after reading another thread about changing them. I like it, will live with it for a while, when I get tired of it, I'll put the original badges back on.

I'd love to have the cast yellow accented ones on my Black but alas the '08's don't allow for such an easy change. They're stuck on rather than using the bolts.

Bisley,
I may be mistaken, but I think the 08's tanks still have the bolt holes behind the stick-on badges. I only say this because I was at the dealer when someone got their new black/white tank for their 08 bonnie an were complaining because it still had the holes. The dealer said they still put the holes in until 09 when they change tanks for F/I. That's all second hand info from our knowledgable dealers. Might be worth checking into.

Thanx Derby - I'll have to try and check into that. Would really love to have the different badges. If I can use them I'd just worry about removing the stuck on ones without damaging the paint/finish.
