I'm weak

I posted a thread about demoing a Bonnie with no intentions of buying....

Well... after the test ride, my fiance and I went back tot he dealership. According to the GM, it was the last 08 Bonnie Black to be found anywhere.

So we bought it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This thing is so much fun. It reminds me why I started riding. I've gotten the sportbike thing outa my system. My new Bonnie just purrs down the road. It's like therapy. The motor and the tranny are so smooth. I took my fiance out last night. It has plenty of power for us, and she is MUCH more comfortable.

You guys don't lie about these things.

I'm outa here. Gonna ride all day

A few years ago, an old friend of mine, who has had many bikes over the years, bought a Bonneville and told me how "easy" it was to ride and how "friendly" it was. I thought: "easy and friendly" - - what's he talking about? Then I bought one and found out what he meant. You just kind of slip onto it like you put on your favorite old leather riding jacket and go...

Told you so!

It was the same for me when I bought mine - "I'll just look, I won't get one"

One hour later

"Where do I sign where do I sign?!"

Well done my man!

AND my fiance loves it. She's spent the past two years on the back of a sportbike. So anything is an improvement.

This is my 4th bike in the past three years. I think I've finally found "it". I'm gonna ride it stock for a while. Then I'll start tinkering. Except for the mirrors (they have to go ASAP)

I think I'll be ready for the 600 mile service within the first week of ownership LOL

I too, no what ya mean. I've been a die hard Harley guy the last 12 yrs and was looking for a lighter 2nd bike to solo on so I didnt have to grunt the utlra out of the garage. Considered another Sporty, been through 3 of those already, and saw that Triumph was making the Bonnie again. I decided I needed to check them out. Went to the dealer and fell in love with it's classic styling, then they offered me a test ride and even loaned me a helmet to use. Needless to say I was thrilled to death! One week later I bought my Bonnie and havent looked back. Lighter and handles quicker than any of the sportys I've owed. Not to mention that I get more compliments on my Bonnie than I ever have on any of the 7 HD's Ive owed.

Congrats and welcome to the best **** forum site on earth : )

I go through withdrawals if I don't get to ride it.

Absolutely the most fun bike ever. I think I get a compliment every time I take it out.

My friends with 'big' bikes, only get them out to go on long rides. They don't know what they are missing.!

Today was my first "around town" day on the Bonnie. At lunch I had a guy say, "you got ya an old Triumph, eh?" I said, "yeah, an 08" He was

At the grocery store, I was putting the groceries in the cargo net on the pass seat. A car pulls up real close. I hear them talking. One guy says to the other, "what is that?" as the driver pulls along side I hear him say, "wow, thats a new triumph." I just
