New Scrambler owner

I just picked up a new 07 Scrambler, blue and white beauty. I just went from high tech to a low tech. I traded in my 919 Honda for a new Triumph. I have had my fun corner carving, wheelies and blasting down the road. Its time to enjoy the road at a saner pace. I have been lurking for a while until I decided which Triumph to buy. This forum offers a lot of info, thanks. I have been riding for over 50 years and I think I will enjoy the Scrambler. I have plans for a few simple mods from reading this forum but nothing major.

That's what I thought as well... did not quite work that way....

Congrats

Congrats on your purchase! I too am a new owner (since April) of a blue and white 07 Scram. I have about 650 miles on it and love it. I'm a dirt rider from the 70s, no bike for many years, and then got back on the scene in 04 with a Yumbo Dakar 200 - nice little trail bike but not much for street. The Scrambler is a great bike for street, commuting, country roads, and gravelly road adventures. Just ordered a 17 tooth sprocket - hardly ever get it into 5th gear on the roads I ride and want 1st gear to be a little lower for tight conditions. Enjoy your bike!

I also bought a 2007 Scrambler in April and have about 3200 miles on it. Fun bikes to ride and easy to get use to. Enjoy the ride
