Production Numbers

Greetings all, I picked up my 08 Black Bonnie about a month back, it has been a life changing event for myself. It is the funnest bike I have ever ridden. Anyone out there know what the production numbers are for the 08 Black Bonneville's?

Sorry, that's top secret corporate stuff. You can find total production, but there's no breakdown of the various models. Just guesstimates.:

You have one of only 250 made. That way it is that much cooler to you, even if there should be a couple more zeros on the end.

So the guesstimate is approximately 25,000 Bonneville blacks will be sold worldwide in 08. I guess I can live with that number.

That is somewhat high, Triumph only makes about 40,000 bikes a year so I doubt that over half would be BBs. Considering they produce 14 models in 2008, an educated guess is that they probably won't produce any more than 5,000 of any one model.

But it is still just a guess.

I had no ideal what the number could be, as you could tell, LOL. All I wanted was ballpark number. I have never seen one on the road in Motown area, all you see is Harley's and Honda's.
