Girls like Triumphs! I have been overwhelmed with females at our bike club who have complimented me on purchasing the Caspian Blue Scrambler (a 2006 model).
Maybe its the TORs I just don't know, but I'm not complaining! Having said that its just a nice verbal compliment I am a happily married chap after all, but its nice to be appreciated by my wife AND the girls TOO
More and more girls here in the UK seem to be getting their bike licences too. Well equality has its benefits eh? The girl below is NOT in our bike club but a publicity shot from which film I am not sure? I think the bike is a TR6.
Too true lol. Im at college with plenty of girls so you can imagine the America gets a few compliments!
On the other hand its not just the young, i got an old lady in a classic car dating from '36 pull up and comment on the bike yesterday, i dont care who it is, I just know they have taste!
...and Casper I have seen that pic before, she is hot! Anyone know the name of the film?
I like girls on Triumphs (well most bikes really) but especially Triumphs.
I am not a great fan of modern 'skin' shots of very scantily clad ladies but this one caught my eye. She has most of her clothes on and hopefully if she does ride the bike she does wear protective gear
Basically, it is an authentic person not yet another 'model' or umbrella girl astride a lovely old Meridien Trumpet.
This one I think is mid late 1990s somewhere in England but don't know the name of the girl or location?
Of course girls look good on Triumphs.
They even make a fat old geezer like me look good.
So hot chicks are a cinch
(fat chicks are a little harder, but the bike still looks good)
I'm an old timer too Fat, well I have a bit of a belly which I am vaguely sort of trying to get rid of!!!!!
But young at heart!
Seriously, though so many women admire the Scrambler don't quite know what it is, guess it has 'classic bike' written all over it and maybe sports bike appear threatening? I don't know, but its great to get the attention.
Safe riding and its good to hear of your travels in Oz. Amazed to see Rhodie's pictures as well, actually scrambling with a 900 Scrambler, wow!!!!
When she went out her Mom gave her a pair of full length jeans, but of course they shrunk as she was going through the sea on the Scrambler Have Scrambler will travel...will shrink????
but there really is a girl under all that gear! (You'll have to look elsewhere on the net for the pics that make me look like I don't know how to ride!)
Hey Bonnielass. I think I prefer your "other" pictures. Though I'm pleased to see you've still got the white chaps on. I'd have never recognised you otherwise.
'but there really is a girl under all that gear! (You'll have to look elsewhere on the net for the pics that make me look like I don't know how to ride!)'
Hey its great to see some real women riding real bikes; not like those posed Triumph publicity shots eh
Like the tank on your Bonnie, in the purple two tone and eye brow Triumph badge.
Safe riding and of course girls definitely allowed on triumphs.....the more the better I say - just watch 'Old Scratcher' he seems a 'bit of a lad' to me
Looks good to me. I'd rather see that than shorts and a tank top (at least on the bike). :GoodLookin:
I got the double dose last week. I don't see alot of Bonnevilles on the road. As I went by one, I realized it was a chic (female). She didn't wave back, though. It was kool. Stories like that set a flame under the wife for getting a ride of her own.
Here's a pix from a recent Allstate ad that combines girl and Triumph motorcycle. Obviously posed, but I'd like to believe she owns and rides the bike in the photo. She's an Allstate agent in California.
