Haynes Manual for 2008 Bonnie

All,

I've been wanting to get the Haynes manual to learn some more about the bike. The years are like 2004-2007 for the T100 865cc. Will this suffice for 2008 models or is there a manual I can look at?

The 2008 USA models are basically the same as the 07, but with a slightly different shape tank and plastic tank badges, so the Haynes should work out OK. You might want to consider the Triumph OEM manual though - get the facts from the horses mouth so to speak, and then no concerns.

Like Propforward says, there are few if any relevant changes for the bikes sold in the US. Haynes manuals always come out a little while after the bike hits the market, because their researchers get down to the practicalities of taking the bike apart and putting it back together again. By the time the EFI version reaches your shores, Haynes may have already produced an updated manual that includes fuel injection, because it will have been on the streets of Europe for a year. But the current manual will serve for your purposes, I think.

By the way, Propforward, were you loose head or tight head?

Mostly loosehead, occasionally tight. VERY occasionally I played second row.

These days I'm too fat and slow to play.

So I ride my bike instead.

I bought the 2004-2007 for my bonnie 2008 (with carbs) and it answered all the questions I had. There is very little difference between the 2007 models 2008 ones. So far, I only detected minor differences in tank size and air-injection system.

Go for it. The Haynes manual became my bible.

I just orderd a Hayes manual for my 2o12 Bonneville from Amazon. It has not reached their shelf yet but if you pre-order it, I did, they will send it as soon as they get it. The price is 30 bucks and will be honored when released even if the price goes up.
