Ah,the beginning of the arms race!I would say we'd be better off going back to throwing poo,but I'm afraid our enemies are a lot more full of poo than we are.

Sorry, off topic. There's really no need to delete pix from PB.If you have pix you don't want to wade through anymore, just divide your pix up into different albums, then ignore the ones you don't want to look at.That way,any pix that you have linked will still be active.

Cheers!
Bruce

I'm sure people have plenty of reasons for deleting photos from Photobucket. I've done it. But as everyone has been saying, you should be blaming the users, not the system. As far as I can see, Photobucket works extremely well.

Dang Grumpy. Sounds like you should change your name to the other dwarf: Whiney.

Seriously - it's just the users of photobucket deleting their own photos or changing their albums. And since they're their photos - I don't see it as a problem. Still, I agree, it is a tad disappointing to come across the big blank box telling us the photo is no longer available.

Regards there Grump - I get a bit that way myself sometimes. Bet a ride on your Triumph will cure the grumpys though!

apologies, sorta

Since I'm only a kumpewtur eggspurt using a koal farred kumpewtur, I didn't know what the problem was, only that it was discourageing to find a mod thread which indicated pics, open it and find "removed by photobucket". After reading that statement, in my simple mind, PB was the "offender" sooooo, my first post. After more knowledgeabe members in lite und me, I realised PB was not the problem.

Some of the "stickies" with pics I've looked at have the PB delete statement instead of the indicated pic. I would still like to see mod threads (maybe bike threads) with pics become permanent, pics and all. Maybe members who post mod pics could take it upon themselves to place items like these in a separate album (as one poster indicated could be done) so they do not get deleted; or my previous Rx could be implimented by someone with more kumpewtur eggspurteese than I.

A free Photobucket account has a storage limit of 1 GB, and a bandwidth limit of 25 GBs per month.

only in conventional warfare. Throwing poo still plays a vital part in biological warfare

Rodburner is 100% correct - this is exactly the reason why you see no pic! I use Photobucket and it is not only FREE but very easy to use. As a matter of fact, Kudos to Sweat for turning me onto Photobucket when I first joined up and patiently explaining to me (an IT Geek) how to post images, make an Avatars, make clickable links and clickable pictures. I gave back the knowledge I learned to many other newcomers!
