Rain Gear
I commute to work everday on my BB. It is a short commute in the city, however I it is much more convienient (and 3 times as fast) as other options. I would like to be able to commute in light rain. When it pours I take the bus. As a lawyer I have to wear a suit to work. Can anyone recommend some good rain pants that I can slip on over my suit pants. Thanks

Rain suit
Check your local bike shops. Most of the better quality rainsuits are made to fit over whatever else you may be wearing. Mine (Harley branded) has zippers that go way up the legs, making it very easy to put on even when I'm dressed in layers for cold weather. It was kind of expensive, but worth it, and it folds up small enough that it easily stores in my saddlebags. I don't leave home without it.

I use a tourmaster defender 2 piece rainsuit - seems OK. They are available mail order.
I prefer to change into my smart stuff once I get to work, rather than crease everything up under my bike gear. I also have to keep my shoes very shiny, so I leave those at work.
link to one place that sells these, but they seem readily available

I have a Triumph Chevron suit, the one piece, goes on easy with zips from neck to ankle. A couple of years old now, I'm very happy with it.

I have to second the Aero suggestion. Alternately, Olympia makes the Phantom one piece:

I have the Olympia AST with Ranger II pants and it's a great combo, if a bit on the hot side in warm weather.

Rain Wear
I used to use those throw away ponchos @ 2/ $1 from the dollar store. Wont do much for pants tho. Aero stich or check @ your llocal "MArine " store for some foul weather gear. I am sure you can find something there?

I use a Strearns Marine foul weather gear and I'm happy with it. But I don't have to worry about a suit.

Rain gear
Try Frog Toggs.
I have used them as summer weight raingear for four of five years. Currently on my second set and I still pack the old set for my wife. Look for them online or in sports outlets. Pretty good rain protection, light weight, useful for other activities in addition to biking.
Feel like paper at first but they are more durable than I fist thought. Cheap too, $39. The latest version is $59 and looks thicker, heavier material.
