there's this little button at the top that says "search"

Use it and you will find hundreds of threads on the quality of corbin seats.

If you can't find the right button, I will tell you that Corbin seats are great

I just put a corbin on my bonnie - it's the one they call "gunfighter and lady" definitely better than the stock and the contemporary seats. I'm thinking of having the lady bit of the seat taken off and replaced with a seat hump, so that I can keep some tools and crap in it. I would have bought the smuggler - except I got this one used at a good price.

I don't have a problem with topics being rediscussed. If people don't want to read or post to a thread, they don't have to. There is a lot of good info on the site though - searched it many times myself.

Searching is cool and all...a lot of us don't mind renewing discussions though. I'm thinking about buying a new seat too.

I've been thinking of getting a G&L for a while now so my wife can be more comfy when we co on rides. But I think I should address the shocks before I bother with the seat.

One question about the G&L: I'm 6'2" and often tend to switch up my riding position by hanging my feet on the passenger pegs when I'm riding solo. Is the shape of the G&L conducive to that riding position, or does it pretty much force your legs forward? I suppose most people don't hang their feet on the passenger pegs, but if people are happy with the seat using rearsets, it's pretty much the same thing. Does that work okay?

Search button Nazis

I swear you search button Nazis need to chill a bit. Firstly the search function on this site is moderate at best, secondly believe it or not some folks do post AFTER using the search button because they didnt find the answer they were looking for.

I've had Corbin seats on three different motorcycles. I like them. Some folks don't. They are a very firm seat, so folks who equate "soft" with "comfortable" have trouble with the Corbin approach. I do not have a Corbin on my Triumph T100 though. I just don't like the styles they offer for the Bonneville. I recently went with a Triumph Scrambler Gel seat for the T100. Haven't done a high mileage day on it yet (which I consider to be 350 to 600 miles). On a recent 100 mile ride it seemed to work fine.
