New exhaust
I got a set of Dunstall exhaust from Antique_Engine he had for sale on the classifieds a few weeks back. A great guy to do business with, very prompt, and the exhaust looked even better than he described.
I put them on my Bonnie and I love the looks and sound. A bit loud but not annoying. Getting a little back firing, but have not rejetted as of yet. Infact I kinda like the Rat A Tat Tat sound on deceleration.
Tonight I pulled up to the Dual Lt turn lane onto Decatur from Sahara, and lo an behold; Metro's finest was sitting there on his bike also, so I edgged up as slowly and quitely as I could. After I got abreast of him he looks over at me and gives me the "I know you've done something wrong, but I can't figure it out yet look". Then he asks my what year my bike was and what do they run, so I told him. He told me his son wants one, and do they have those exhaust in stock. I told him no they are order, he say's he'll have to take the boy down there this weekend. I told him best of luck, a few seconds later the light changes, we take off.
This was one of the few times I was next to a cop who wasn't asking for "license and registration please".
