new helmet

yeehaw, my new GMax 68 Crusader helmet arrived today from Motorcycle Superstore. It's white and red and uber cool -the art work: little crusader crosses, is great, right up my alley! Came with plush helmet bag, an extra smoked shield in its own bag and a smoked plastic cover for the l.e.d. lights on the back. The red lights on the back are great, you can turn them off, keep them solid or make them blink fast or slow, with the push of one button. all for $107.00. Sure does beat my $50.00 whatever flip front that I'm using now. Sweet, just need some warm weather to try it out in. Lots'o'vents!

thanks, saphena, now all I need is a javelin (the pole, not the car!) and when I get on my bike I can pretend I'm a knight in merry ol' England off to kill the sarascens. :-)

The GMax is on my "short list" for the next helmet. Nice choice.

Here's some more information...

And here's a very complimentary review...
http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motor...et/gmax/gm68s/

This Givi helmet is also worth considering, particularly for those of us who ride in really hot weather...

I got my gmax after I read webbike's review; yes the Givi is definitely another good one. Seems like the one main criticism of the gmax is that it tends to be noisy because of its many vents. I can live with that; like to hear my bike when i'm opening up the throttle.
love the blinking l.e.d lights on the back.
