Hi Guys

Hi Guys,

Some excellent threads on mods and upgrades, lookin' forward to some serious spanner juggling soon. Looks like I'm gonna be doin' as many mods to this bike as I did to my old Harley FXR.

I've just bought my first Hinckley Twin a Thruxton 900 in the only colour(AI arrived, TORS already fitted, and Goodies on the way!), its replacing my recently mangled Ducati Sport 1000 (3.5 tonne truck pulled out of a line of traffic w'out signalling, written off 'cos frame twisted!) but I think the change is gonna be for the better.

Cuz.

Hi Steve, I'm new here myself but let me add my welcome to OMJ's! (It's probably all you'll get - being a Limey an' all...)

I'd be very interested to hear how you think the Thrux compares to the Ducati - I've just gone somewhat the other way and swapped a T100 for a GT1000!

Greetings Cousin Steve and welcome to the fold.

Always good to have another member from this side of the pond, even if you do live in Yorkshire!!

I too have a Ducati but must admit its been gathering dust a little since I started playing with the Scrambler.

Enjoy the bike, enjoy the modding (it WILL happen) and enjoy the invaluable comment, info, advice and opinion which you'll find here.

V.
