not beating Dead Bonnie but these are the (no graphic images) pics at the scene

The oil stain in pic #4 about 8" off the white line is where the impact was.

the large blob of kitty litter in the middle of my lane is the antifreeze from the beemer.

you can see the scrape on the pavement where he was going down in my lane. pic #3

as You can see I was Hobling around a little at the scene, Adrenalin is amazing, these pics were taken about 10-15 min after the accident, by the time the ambulance got there about 45-55min after the accident It was hard to get up off the ground. The adrenalin had worn off and I had set up like concrete.

The guys from the store came up with the kitty litter, in the interest of safety to clean up the antifreeze and oil.

Looking at the wreckage you were very lucky Jon not to have more serious injuries. Hope you are recovering well.

Amazing photos!

Dayum, you must be one tough sumbuck to be walking around after that wreck!!
Glad you are relatively unscathed and get back out there soon!
BTW, is that guy in the black PowerRanger suit with the camera the knucklehead who ruined your day?

no the lad in the rocket leathers

was just a nice local who stopped to help out, the fellow that hit me is in jeans, and the black jacket with the white stripe across the shoulders and tennis shoes. looking slightly ill. He was also very lucky, and did not get whacked at all, just some rug burn. (go figure) his was a basic low side I took the six hundred pound bike.

thanks for the great pitures those images are depressing especialy for you obviousely and others that have had smilar experiences, after seeing those pictures and been in similar position in the past I know you will replace the bike and put it behind you, and with luck you wont have to go through that nightmare again all the best..

So let me get this straight:

My client was travelling twice as fast as your client
My client was inexperienced whereas yours had many years in the saddle
My client was breaking the law while yours was doing it right
My client was riding in jeans and trainers while yours was fully ATGATT
My client is unscathed but yours may lose his leg

There really is no justice is there?

Jon, despite this I'm really sorry for your loss and I do hope you make a full recovery real soon and when you do - ATGATT

Hey Jon
Sorry to hear about this. Good thing you were suited up. I often find myself riding around in jeans and a half helmet. Thanks for the pics. Good reminder to suit up.
Ive got the same model Bonnie as yours.. Sad to see it bent up like that but good to see you standing over it!!
