Squeaky Brakes
I've got about 150 miles on my T100 and the brakes squeak like none other. I live in Colorado, which is an extremely dry climate...But my car's (disc) breaks don't squeak anything near this bad. Are factory pads just cheap? I'm not sure if the squeak is due to dirt and gunk on the pads or metallic in the pads... Any thoughts?

I've got 250 miles on mine and have the same problem, but only with the rear brake.

I just replaced my rear pads with some off the shelf replacements from a Triumph dealer, and these are way worse than any other pads I've ever heard. They seem to work fine, but are noisy as hell.

My rear brake is squeaky after replacing the pads too. Annoying, but not enough to do anything about it.

I had the same problem. A liberal application of copper grease to the disc surface and now, no problem with noise.

I wonder if Triumph changed something? Mine don't squeak at all.

Huh. I have an '04 T100. Never made such noise since off the floor.
Dealer put pads on when he did tires, first time.
I put brakes when I did rear again last year early summer before the last set of new tires, and is due for front brake change now.
He and I used Triumph branded pads.
I danno. Hope that doesn't start next time when maybe "old pads" are used up or I'll freak going through buying different brands till I find a makers that won't...

It's my understanding that some brakes squeak and that it's not really related to the quality of the brakes or pads. You could use different brakes/pads from the same manufacturer and some would squeak and some wouldn't.
The rear brakes on my bonnie squeak a bit, but the front don't.
