I've had it!
With gasoline prices at $3.50/gallon + (for regular), I have started to use my T100 and my Vespa 150, almost 100% to run my errands.
Screw these OPEC thieves!!!

no kiddin!
I drive a Jetta diesel that gets 40+ mpg, and it's starting to hurt to drive it! Granted, diesel is about $4 a gallon here.

I hear ya! I've been car pooling to work for over a year now, and always try to combine trips in the cage, and or course try to use the Bonnie with her 50 mpg when I can. What a great way to save money on gas and enjoy an errand!
Ditto on screwing the OPEC thieves, and the "T.O.C.'s" Thieving Oil Companies!

the man has his hand in your pocket too when you pay that $3.50. at least we're not across the pond where it's closer to ~$9 per gallon.

What? Unless my maths is off (which is possible ) and assuming you are using US$ and US Gallon, that makes it £1.90 / litre. The most I've paid was £1.14/l (picked up the "ultimate" by mistake while trying to avoid the "premium") which works out at about US$8.69/ US Gallon

Beat 'em good
For all my errands around locally, I use my bikes which have yet to use the first Gal. of gas between them all (Specialized Tri-cross, 2007; Mongoose,2004; and Centurion, 1979)

Maybe thinking UK gal vs US gal?? Just below US$9/US gal is right by my math and according to a friend in Leicester he pays £1.19 max for his Range Rover (talking about pain....V8 and drinks petrol faster than he can drink ale!). Still, lots of Tax revenue in that price....
