Thruxton lean angle?

Does anyone have data on lean angle and also can you tell me which hard parts hit the pavement first? I was out at the dealer today and they didn't know. I'm wondering if it's the pegs first or the pipes or maybe the engine bolts? And how far over can the bike lean on each side? Thanks!

Thumbs up Angle

On a thrux- my guess would be your knee? On a Bonne its the pegs. Thrux made for that - w/ high rearsets & pipes. The engine wont touch unles the bike is down. Good tires & suspension- she should almost lay horizontal! Hey enjoy the twisties- I do!!

So what I'm getting from you all is that it's a non-issue. Thanks!

The side stand grinds on the left and the exhaust pipe on the right. You are railing pretty good when these parts touch down- faster than sanity should allow you on the street - on a track day day you will be wearing theses parts out. The higher ride height of the thrux gives you more room than the bonnie - the bonnie drags pegs all day long.

The Thruxton has the little bolts on the ends of the pegs to prevent damaging them. Unless you have really little feet your boots will hit first. Id invest in a set of good riding boots or steel toes.

Thumbs up Touch 1st

Ill second the boot idea!! Forgot that one? Unless you drop it- thats all that should touch on a Thrux! The Bonne - my ped metal bulb things have a few small scrapes on them.
Gotta do a re-vamp on the suspension tho. Its OK but could be a whole lot better!
A Thrux well set up- get some metal knee pads. It will do a nice hard corner!! Hey - Enjoy the ride- we all do!!!!
