Rear-ended today...

...and I've only had the bike for a week.
It's ok, but I need a new rear fender and the rim is bent a little...not too bad because I was able to make the 20-mile trip home...but we'll see if it holds air..

I think I may get the plastic replacement from newbonneville, but I'd need about a gallon of scarlet red...

I'm ok...if I was on my Nighthawk, my wife would be single again.

Word to the wise...don't take Flatbush Aveenue in Brooklyn.

An even better word to the wise - get a good lawyer and get a settlement from the idiot's insurance company. Mine paid for some cool toys and a honeymoon in Jamaica but I had a hairline fracture of the wrist that still hurts. The really freaky part is i don't remember a single thing. My last memory was being in a center turning lane with my signal on and the next is being on the cell with my wife standing across from a cop telling her I thought I might have been in an accident. That's probably for the best because if I wasn't so dazed I'd probably have been arrested for beating the idiot senseless. I used to be a cautious rider but now I always ride like I'm invisible. It was a slow speed crash but my helmet saved my skull from cracking open like a melon.

Chrome fender would be nice, but you shouldn't have to pay for it or the new wheel, tire, etc. 1-800-suethe***
