5yr olds first ride

Today I took my 5yr old for his first ever ride. I picked up a helmet for him this afternoon and then tonight we went for a quick ride around the neighborhood. Judging from the smile I think he enjoyed the ride. He was pretty quiet during the ride but was talking non stop telling his mom about the ride. He was quite excited when a friend walked by later and he had to show him his new helmet.

Oh no. when your boy turns 16 he's gonna want a bike! Then he's gonna want to impress the girls with wheelies. Good luck!

I think I might have to print and laminate a copy of the first picture with the smile on your boy's face, then when someone asks me why I ride i can just show them that . Nice

My Ex would absolutely kick my a** if I took one of our kids for a ride, and I'm not sure I would blame her. While I've enjoyed motorcycles for much of my adult life, I'm not sure I want my kids to.

I pick up my boy Jake every day from elementary school on the bonnie. You should see the kids' faces when I pull up to get him. Especially his little 3rd grade girlfriend. He loves it!
His teacher seems to dig it too.

My k ids and bikes

When my kids were that old, they loved riding with me on a bike. People asked me, "aren't you afraid of an accident and killing them?" I told them "well, they died doing something they loved". Not many people get to die doing something they love, do they???

I hope when my time comes, I am 115 years old and become a Peterbuilt hood ornament, running away at high speed on my bike from some irate father of a pregnant girl
