With the help of my brother we got the following installed today.
1. Removed the seat and gas tank.
2. Istalled new Hagon Nitro's.
3. Installed new accessory socket.
4. Installed a Garmin Zumo 550 GPS (wired directly to the battery).

Other than a quirky fuel line and clamp everything went perfectly. I haven't tried the accessory socket becuase I need some adaptors for the electronic gizmo's that I will be using it for.
All in all a great day. The whole thing only took 2 1/2 hours. We topped it off with a short ride and called it a day.

I hope you like the zumo 550. Mine's great. If you don't already know about it, Powerlet is a great source for the "BMW-style" plugs that our accessory sockets use. I have their dual cigar coil cable and it works great. Last October I rode around the California Sierra Madres with the GPS and heated grips on plus an iPod and cell phone recharging. I had to make sure I wasn't putting around on city streets, but otherwise there was no trouble.
