Went for a ride today to Yosemite..sort of

This morning we (the wife, one of our good friends and myself) decided to take a spin on the bikes. Even though the wifes bike was just hit a few days ago (posted in other thread) we duct taped the light back on (yes, I admit that) and were good to go. We headed up HWY 132 through La Grange and then up to Coulterville. From there, we headed up north and past Moccosin Power plant. I forget the HWY names but for some reason, we just kept going and ended up at Yosemite! All I know is that it was such a **** good ride. The weather, the road, everything.

Just wanted to share a few shots is all. Oh, and we left at 12:30pm and did not get home till 6:15pm tonight. Ya, I am a bit sore from the Thruxton but well worth the trip!

Cheers,
Chans

Hey! Wait a minute. I have'nt seen any other Triumph's in this town. I've been looking for four year's just to find you. How about we all go for a ride? Looking forward to meeting all you guy's. On second thought maybe that was you when I stopped and said Hi one day on Minaret and East ave.

I need to head back up there and do some proper camping. My last trip through was sort of a quick romp. Two great rides in the Yosemite area are Hwy 120 through Tioga Pass (be careful...) and Highway 4 through Ebbets Pass.

Highway 120

Highway 4

Bryan,

Glad to see there are other Triumph riders in this town. You know, it was about 2 years ago (maybe a bit less) and we did chat on the corner of east ave and minaret. If it wasnt you, well then, there is another triumph rider in this town.

I am located over by the college these days. Shoot me an email and I will give you my number. It would be fun to take a spin one day.

Cheers,
Chans

daz. Sunday is bike cleaning and ham eating for me. we cracked off 450 and that's enough.

You guys in Turlock got it so good. That whole area east of there is nothing but a spiderweb of endless loops.
Rush it before road America invades. They screw up everything.

Yall have fun.

Bryan,
I got your email. I sent you one back. Give me a call this week or I will give you a call. Hopefully the weather stays good and we can take a quick ride up the hill a bit.

Cheers,
Chans

Sounds good. We can run up to La Grange and have a bowl of chili.
