So I'm excited...sue me!

Yeah, yeah....I know I posted this in the "dealership" forum but I'm too excited, confused, etc, etc... and who else can I come to if not you guys?!

I emailed Gengras Triumph/BMW/Ducati in Hartford, CT some few months back inquiring about demo rides and a Bonnie. I was told that they do offer demo rides but it would have to wait until Spring for the weather to clear.

Well, I just received an email from one of the salesmen letting me know that they have resumed demo rides. I tell ya, kudos to Forrest for even just remembering me and my interest, something I wasn't expecting.

So guess where I'm going this Saturday?

Man o man! Do I trade or not?! Wife doesn't even know.

I'm so confuuuused!

I am looking at Triumph's website and they are advertising the 08's. Am I wrong or is the Black Bonnie no longer available? I don't see it anywhere.

I don't see it on the factory site(s) either. But it is listed at Hermys...

Colour Options:
Aluminium Silver
Fusion White
Claret
Jet Black with black engine finish

See for yourself... http://www.hermys.com/triumph/bonneville/

Surely Triumph wouldn't quit selling the most popular Bonnie... or would they?

Yes Virgini.....oops wrong thread....Yes Hogwylde there is an 08 Bonnie Black. And while doing a test ride don't let the sewing machine sound fool you. There are 1 or 2 aftermarket pipes out there. (Nyuk!)

I've stopped by there a couple of times when I was up at Savage on business. It's a great dealership!

Your gonna have to put some $$ into a stock Bonnie to get it running like your 1200 Sporty.
Food for thought. Obviously, all of us here love them though. Great bikes.
